DeliSep D-1400 Dewaterer
The DeliSep D-1400 Dewaterer is an innovative system designed to efficiently manage food waste onboard ships and offshore installations where disposal via mains drainage is not feasible due to technical restrictions and regulations of MARPOL Annex V. The DeliSep D-1400 Dewaterer separates the solid fraction of food waste, capturing it in a wheeled bin for further processing and storage. The liquid component can be stored in a separate holding tank or disposed of at sea in accordance with Marpol
Product Description
Through the de-watering process, the DeliSep D-1400 Dewaterer achieves significant reductions in weight, volume, and fermentability of food waste. The solid component, reduced by approximately 50% in weight and 80% in volume, can be easily managed and stored.
Additionally, Delitek offers vacuum-packing machines and refrigerated waste boxes for further volume reduction and safe storage, providing a comprehensive waste management solution.
The DeliSep D-1400 Dewatering unit can be integrated with both gravity drain- (DeliGrav) and vacuum conveying (DeliVac) systems.
